  • Do you offer parking at your studio locations?

Yes, each of our studio locations offers free parking within a short walking distance:

    DEDHAM:

    • Free 2-hour street parking spots on Washington Street.
    • Free covered parking structure at 350 Washington Street, next to C2 Body (spaces can be limited).
    • A large free parking lot in Dedham Square, just a 2-3 minute walk from the studio. (Search for "Keystone Lot, Dedham" or "10 Eastern Ave, Dedham, MA 02026" for directions.)

    MILTON:

    • Free parking spots right outside the Muscle and Flow gym.
    • Free 2-hour street parking on High Street and Adams Street.
    • Be mindful of Milton permit-only parking areas if you're not a local resident.

    WALPOLE:

    • 2-hour street parking spots on Main Street.
    • A large free parking lot on East Street (2-minute walk; search "Public Parking Lot, Stone St., Walpole, MA 02081" for directions).
    • Parking across the street on Main Street for CVS, Muffin House, 7-eleven, and other stores.
  • What are the prerequisites for Reformer Pilates classes at C2 Body?

To ensure safety and a supportive experience, we ask that clients meet the following before advancing to higher-level Reformer classes:

    • Beginner Reformer Pilates: No experience required. This is the best place to start!
    • Reformer Express or Reformer Pilates (Multi-Level): Must complete at least 3 Beginner Reformer Pilates classes first.
    • Plus* Reformer Pilates (Advanced): Requires a minimum of 10 regular Reformer Pilates classes prior to booking. This class is for experienced clients ready for more complex sequences and transitions.

Even if you're athletic or have taken Lagree-style classes (like Solidcore, SLT, Btone, or Higher Ground), we strongly recommend starting with Beginner Reformer because the equipment and the principles are not the same. Our STOTT PILATES®-based approach focuses on the Five Basic Principles of movement, deep core activation, and intentional control. Starting at the foundation ensures you build proper technique, which often results in a better, more effective workout in the long run.

Not sure where you fit? We’re happy to guide you! Reach out to info@c2body.com for personalized support.

  • I’m new to Reformer Pilates. What should I know before starting?

If you’ve never done Pilates before, especially on the equipment (Reformer), we highly recommend starting with our most popular Introductory Offer — the Fast Track Bundle. This includes two private sessions and one group class, where you’ll:

✔ Learn the fundamental principles of Pilates

✔ Get comfortable using the Reformer

✔ Build confidence with foundational exercises tailored to you

After completing the Fast Track, we recommend taking at least 2-3 Beginner Reformer classes before transitioning into other group classes. This allows time to develop strength, coordination, and proper technique so you can get the most out of your Pilates practice.

Still have questions? We’re happy to help. Just reach out to us!

  • It's been a while since I took Pilates. Which class should I take?

If you’re comfortable adjusting the Reformer safely and understand the five basic principles of Pilates—especially using breath to engage your core for stability—you can bypass Beginner classes and join a regular group Reformer class.

If you’re unsure or feel like you need a refresher, we recommend starting with a Beginner Reformer class to rebuild confidence with the equipment and foundational movements.

For those who want personalized guidance before returning to group classes, our Fast Track Package is a great option. It includes two private sessions and one group class to help you refine technique, regain strength, and ease back into Pilates at your own pace.

Not sure what’s best for you? We’re happy to help—just reach out!

  • What is the difference between equipment and floor classes?

EQUIPMENT Classes: These use specialized equipment like the Reformer and TRX suspension straps to enhance your workout through added resistance and support.

FLOOR Classes: These include Barre, Mat Pilates, and Yoga, focusing on bodyweight exercises and movement on a mat or in a standing position.

  • I've done a Lagree or Megaformer-based workout like Solidcore. How is C2 Body's Reformer Pilates different?

If you've taken classes at a Lagree or Megaformer-based fitness studio like Solidcore, SLT, Btone, etc., it's important to know that C2 Body’s Reformer Pilates is different from Megaformer-based workouts. While both the Reformer and Megaformer use spring resistance, the equipment and workout structure are not the same.

To get the most out of our Reformer Pilates classes, we recommend taking at least one Beginner Reformer Pilates class to familiarize yourself with our modern Pilates approach and the STOTT PILATES® equipment before moving into other group Reformer classes.

STUDIO POLICY QUESTIONS

  • What should I bring to class?

BARRE: Grip socks are preferred, but you can also bring Studio Sneakers (sneakers worn only indoors  to keep the studio floors clean and safe)

MAT PILATES: A yoga mat and towel; no shoes or socks are necessary

REFORMER PILATES: Grip socks are required.

TRX PILATES: Studio sneakers are required.

YOGA: A yoga mat and towel; no shoes or socks are necessary.

If you don’t have grip socks, they are available for purchase in the studio for $15 (ankle) or $18 (tall). Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class if you need to purchase socks.

In general, we recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your class start time. This ensures you have enough time to check in (iPad), find your spot, settle in, and inform your instructor of any injuries or modifications you may need.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Group Classes must be canceled at least 12 hours before the scheduled time.

Private and Duet Sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

Sauna Sessions must be cancelled at least 2 hours in advance.

  • How do I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel any class, private session, or sauna appointment through the C2 Body app or by logging into your account at www.c2body.com/my-account.

    Once logged in:

    • Navigate to “Reservations”
    • Click “View Reservation”
    • Then select “Cancel Reservation”

To avoid losing your credit or incurring a fee, please cancel within the required time frame:

    • Group Classes: Cancel at least 12 hours in advance
    • Private & Duet Sessions: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance
    • Sauna Sessions: Cancel at least 2 hours in advance

Please note: We’re not able to accept cancellations by email, so be sure to cancel through the app or website if you can’t attend.

  • What is the waitlist policy?

If you join the waitlist, our booking system will automatically add you to the class if a spot becomes available, up until 2 hours before class time. If you’re added, you’re responsible for the spot, and our 12-hour cancellation policy applies. In other words, if you're added less than 12 hours before class, you’ll be charged if you don’t attend.

To avoid this, please remove yourself from the waitlist before the 12-hour cancellation window if you're unsure about attending.

If you're hoping for a last-minute spot, check the C2 Body mobile app or website schedule before class time to see if one becomes available.

  • Will I lose my spot if I'm late?

Yes, late entry is not permitted once class begins. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please plan ahead and arrive on time. Allow enough time to park, check in on the iPad, and settle into your spot before class starts.

If you need to purchase grip socks, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early to allow time for your purchase.

This policy is in place to respect the instructor and fellow members and to prioritize your safety—proper warm-up is essential for preparing your body and maximizing your workout.

More than 5 minutes late? If the class is full, your spot may be given to a standby client.

Thank you for your cooperation—we look forward to seeing you in class!

  • What is the studio etiquette?

    • Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth start for everyone.
    • No cell phone use during class, but you're welcome to take selfies before or after.
    • Be mindful of our cancellation policy (12 hours notice required for group classes; 2 hours for the infrared sauna; 24 hours for private sessions and duets).
    • Grip socks are required for Reformer classes. Studio sneakers or grip socks for Barre/TRX. Bring a yoga mat for Yoga and Infrared Mat Pilates.
    • Please avoid heavy fragrances or perfumes out of respect for those with sensitivities.
    • After class, wipe down your equipment and props with the provided cleaning spray.
    • Reset your workout space to the way you found it.
    • If you're feeling unwell, please stay home and rest.

For the most flexible experience, we always recommend booking directly through C2 Body. You’ll have full schedule access, exclusive perks, and personal support from our team.

PRIVATE TRAINING QUESTIONS

  • Do you offer private sessions at all three C2 Body locations?

Yes! We offer private, duet, and trio sessions at our Dedham, Milton, and Walpole studios. Just let us know your preferred location when you reach out, and we’ll help you get scheduled.

  • What’s the difference between private, duet, and trio sessions?

    • A private session is one-on-one with an instructor.
    • A duet session is shared with a workout buddy such as a friend, family member, or coworker.
    • A trio session includes three clients working with one instructor.

All formats offer personalized instruction using the Reformer and other studio equipment with guidance tailored to the group’s needs and goals.

  • Do I need Pilates experience before booking a private?

No prior experience is necessary! Private sessions are ideal for beginners, those recovering from injury, or anyone looking for personalized instruction.

If you're new to Pilates and want to build confidence before joining group classes, try our Intro Offer – Fast Track Bundle. It includes 2 private sessions and 1 group class, designed to help you establish a strong foundation and transition smoothly into Reformer classes.

  • How do I book a private session?

To get started, email info@c2body.com with:

    1. Your preferred studio location (Dedham, Milton, or Walpole)
    2. Your general availability (days and time blocks over the next 2 weeks; we're open 7 days a week)
    3. Whether you’ve done Reformer Pilates before
    4. Any physical injuries or concerns
    5. Your fitness goals

We’ll match you with the right instructor and follow up with scheduling options.

Please note: It may take up to a full week to align schedules, and longer if you’re requesting a Master Instructor due to limited availability.

  • Can I request a specific instructor?

Yes! Feel free to mention a preferred instructor, and we’ll do our best to coordinate based on their availability.

  • When should I request a Master-Level Instructor?

If you're working through an injury, need post-rehab support, or are seeking highly specialized instruction, we may recommend a Master Instructor. These senior trainers have extensive experience and advanced certifications, but please note that availability is limited and wait times may be longer.

In most cases, we’ll start by matching you with one of our experienced instructors who can get you started right away and support your goals effectively. If a Master Instructor is the right fit later on, we’ll let you know.

  • How do private session cancellations work?

Cancel private or duet sessions at least 24 hours in advance to keep your credit. Use the C2 Body app or website to manage your bookings.

GLOW SAUNA QUESTIONS

  • What are the benefits of the infrared heat & dry salt sauna?

Our sauna combines infrared heat with dry salt therapy to create a deeply restorative experience that supports your body inside and out.

    Infrared Heat Benefits:

    • Detoxification: Promotes deep sweating to help flush out toxins
    • Circulation & Recovery: Increases blood flow, eases muscle tension, and supports joint health
    • Stress Relief: Encourages deep relaxation and can improve sleep quality
    • Skin Health: Clears pores and enhances overall skin tone and glow

    Dry Salt Therapy (Halotherapy) Benefits:

    • Respiratory Support: Helps open airways, reduce inflammation, and clear congestion
    • Immune Boosting: Natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects may support immune health
    • Skin-Calming Effects: May help soothe eczema, acne, and other skin conditions
    • Mental Clarity: The calming environment can support mindfulness and mental reset

Together, infrared heat and dry salt offer a powerful combination of detox, recovery, relaxation, and renewal.

  • Is it beneficial to use the infrared heat & dry salt sauna after a workout?

Yes! Using the infrared sauna after exercise can support recovery and enhance the benefits of your workout. That’s why you’ll often see C2 Body clients finishing their workout with a sauna session.

    • Post-class sauna sessions can help:
    • Speed up muscle recovery
    • Reduce soreness and inflammation
    • Improve flexibility
    • Calm the nervous system
    • Enhance sleep quality

It’s the perfect way to support your body’s recovery, reset your mind, and extend the impact of your workout.

Book your sauna session after class and feel the difference.

  • How do I book an infrared heat & dry salt sauna session?

To book a session, start by purchasing one of the following:

    • Glow Sauna Drop-In (Solo or Duet)
    • 5-Pack Glow Sauna
    • Glow Sauna Unlimited Monthly Membership
    • Or use your monthly C2 Body Core or Power Membership credits (now sauna-eligible!)

    For a SOLO session:

Check available appointment times on the Dedham schedule via our website or mobile app, then book directly. Don’t see the time you’re hoping for? Feel free to email us at info@c2body.com and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

    For a DUET session:

Both you and your guest must have a Duet Drop-In, Glow Sauna Membership, or C2 Body Core/C2 Body Power Membership on file. Once confirmed, email info@c2body.com with your preferred dates and times.

Each session lasts 45 minutes (40 minutes of detoxifying heat + 5 minutes to change). The sauna is cleaned between appointments to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. We provide a towel, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

    Wellhub Users:

Yes, you can book sauna sessions using Wellhub at our Dedham location. Please note: There is a $15 additional fee per session, which helps offset service costs not fully covered by the Wellhub platform. This fee can be paid at the studio via Venmo, cash, or credit card, or charged to your card on file.

    Cancellation Policy:

To avoid losing your session credit or being charged a fee, please cancel at least 2 hours in advance via the C2 Body app or website.

  • How should I prepare for my infrared heat & dry salt sauna session?

    • Arrival – Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your session to check in at the front desk, use the restroom, or refill your water before your session begins.
    • Changing Time – You’ll have five minutes before and after your 40-minute sweat to change in your private sauna room. If you need extra time, two restrooms are available.
    • Comfortable Attire – Wear whatever makes you feel best—some guests prefer little to nothing, while others opt for a bathing suit.
    • Towel – We provide a towel, but you’re welcome to bring an extra for added comfort.
    • Water – Staying hydrated is essential, so drink plenty of water before and after your session.
  • Why doesn’t the infrared & dry salt sauna feel as hot as a traditional sauna?

Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air to 180–200°F, our infrared & dry salt sauna operates at a more gentle 120–150°F, allowing for a deep, detoxifying sweat without the overwhelming heat. Infrared heat warms your body directly, promoting circulation, muscle recovery, and relaxation at a comfortable temperature.

The dry salt therapy (halotherapy) takes place during the first few minutes of your session, when the sauna is still warming up. As the temperature rises above 104°F, the salt particles remain in the air, but no additional salt is released. This ensures you still benefit from both therapies—salt therapy for respiratory and skin health, and infrared heat for deep detoxification and muscle recovery.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

  • Can I use Wellhub for infrared heat & dry salt sauna sessions at C2 Body?

Yes, Wellhub users can book infrared sauna sessions at our Dedham location.

Please note: There is a $15 additional fee per session, which helps offset service costs not fully covered by the Wellhub platform.

You can pay this fee in advance by adding a credit card to your C2 Body account or pay at the studio before your session via:

    • Credit card on file
    • Venmo
    • Cash

If you have any questions about payment options, feel free to email info@c2body.com.

TEACHER TRAINING & CERTIFICATION QUESTIONS

  • What certifications can a Pilates instructor earn through C2 Body?

C2 Body is a Licensed Training Center for Merrithew™, offering internationally recognized certifications in the STOTT PILATES® method, as well as additional Merrithew education programs.

Please note: Our certification courses are held at our Licensed Training Center located within Evolution Pilates in South Windsor, Connecticut — just 20 minutes outside Hartford. Some select courses are also available online for those unable to travel. View upcoming courses via  www.c2body.com/Certifications.

    INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION COURSES

Level 1: Essential & Intermediate Certifications

These foundational courses prepare you to teach safely and effectively in both private and group settings:

    • Intensive Mat-Plus (IMP)
    • Intensive Reformer (IR)
    • Intensive Cadillac (ICAD)
    • Intensive Chair (ICHR)
    • Intensive Barrels (IBRL)

Each course includes in-class instruction, self-directed practice and observation hours, and written and practical exams.

    Level 2: Advanced Certifications

After completing Level 1, instructors may pursue advanced programming to work with higher-level clients and athletes.

    • Advanced Matwork
    • Advanced Reformer
    • Advanced Cadillac
    • Advanced Chair
    • Advanced Barrels

    Injuries & Special Populations (ISP)

This course is required for full STOTT PILATES® certification. It prepares instructors to work safely with clients who have common injuries, conditions, or special considerations.

While open to fitness professionals, ISP is most effective when taken after completing Intensive Mat-Plus (IMP) or Intensive Reformer (IR), as it builds on the foundational knowledge taught in those courses.

To become fully STOTT PILATES® certified, instructors must complete:

    • All five Level 1 courses (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels)
    • All Advanced Level 2 courses
    • Injuries & Special Populations (ISP)
    • All associated exams

Additional Certifications Offered at C2 Body

We also offer instructor training in these Merrithew modalities:

    • Total Barre® Foundation Course
    • ZEN•GA® Mat Foundation Course
    • Halo® Training

    Course Availability

We typically offer Intensive Mat-Plus (IMP) and Intensive Reformer (IR) at least twice a year — once in the winter/spring and again in the summer/fall. Other courses, including Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, and Advanced certifications, are generally offered once a year or more, depending on interest and demand.

Don't see the course you're looking for?

We’re always open to interest! If you’d like to request a future training or be notified about upcoming dates, please email us at info@c2body.com.

  • Where should I start — Mat or Reformer training?

Both Intensive Mat-Plus™ (IMP) and Intensive Reformer (IR) are excellent entry points into Merrithew™ STOTT PILATES® teacher training. The right starting point depends on your background, goals, and how you plan to use your certification.

    Consider starting with Mat if:

    • You're new to teaching or Pilates instruction
    • You want to focus on bodyweight-based programming (no equipment required)
    • You plan to work in gyms, studios, or virtually, where access to Reformers may be limited
    • You’re looking for a lower-cost starting point with fewer prerequisites

    Consider starting with Reformer if:

    • You already have some Pilates, fitness, or movement background
    • You’re teaching or planning to teach in a Reformer-equipped studio
    • You want to dive into equipment-based instruction right away
    • You’re aiming to teach private or small-group training sessions

Still unsure? We’re happy to chat about your experience and help you decide which path is right for you. Just email us at info@c2body.com.

  • Do I need Pilates experience to enroll in the Mat or Reformer course?

No prior teaching experience is required! You don’t need to be a fitness instructor or Pilates teacher to begin.

Merrithew™ STOTT PILATES® courses like Intensive Mat-Plus™ (IMP) and Intensive Reformer (IR) are designed for people with a movement background — not necessarily a teaching one.

    This could include:

    • Personal trainers or physical therapists
    • Dancers or athletes
    • Yoga practitioners or group fitness participants
    • Anyone with a consistent Pilates practice who wants to go deeper

Not sure if your experience qualifies? Email info@c2body.com. We’re happy to help you decide if you're ready to begin.

  • Are there prerequisites for C2 Body's advanced courses?

Yes. While entry-level courses like Intensive Mat-Plus™ (IMP) and Intensive Reformer (IR) are designed for those with general movement experience, many advanced and specialty courses require completion of at least one foundational STOTT PILATES® course first.

    Here’s a quick guide:

    • Advanced Reformer – Requires completion of IR
    • Intensive Cadillac, Chair, or Barrels – Require completion of IMP or IR
    • ISP (Injuries & Special Populations) – Open to fitness professionals, but recommended after IMP or IR for best results

These prerequisites ensure you’re confident in the STOTT PILATES® Five Basic Principles and cueing strategies before progressing to more complex equipment and programming.

Still unsure which course is right for you? Email info@c2body.com.

  • How often does C2 Body offer Pilates teacher training?

C2 Body offers Merrithew™ instructor training in the STOTT PILATES® method multiple times per year through our Licensed Training Center, housed within Evolution Pilates in South Windsor, Connecticut.

Our core certifications — Intensive Mat-Plus™ (IMP) and Intensive Reformer (IR) — are typically offered at least twice a year: once in winter/spring and again in summer/fall.

We also host a wide range of advanced courses and specialty trainings, including:

    • Advanced Reformer
    • Intensive Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels
    • Injuries & Special Populations (ISP)
    • Total Barre® and ZEN•GA®

We offer both in-person and select online formats for those unable to travel.

OTHER QUESTIONS

  • Is Pilates good for men?

Absolutely! Pilates was originally created by a man—Joseph Pilates—and has been used by elite athletes, professional sports teams, and physical therapists for decades. It’s a highly effective workout for building core strength, improving flexibility, enhancing mobility, and preventing injuries.

At C2 Body, men are welcome in all of our classes. If you’re new to Pilates and prefer a more personalized approach, you can start with private sessions to focus on your specific goals before joining a group class.

  • Do you provide private group classes?

Yes! We offer private group classes for friends, family, co-workers, dance troupes, sports teams or any group looking to move, sweat, and connect together in a fun and personalized setting.

Group Size Limits by Class Type:

    • TRX Pilates: Up to 7 guests (Dedham)
    • Reformer Pilates: Up to 8 guests (Dedham, Milton, or Walpole)
    • Barre: Up to 11 guests (Dedham)
    • Mat Pilates or Yoga (with optional infrared heat): Up to 19 guests (Dedham)

For availability, instructor options, and pricing, please email info@c2body.com. We’ll help you coordinate the perfect session for your group!

  • Do you have a lost and found?

Yes! We do our best to store any belongings left behind so you can easily reclaim them during your next visit.

For example, in our Dedham studio, the lost and found is located in the first bathroom.

However, please note that due to limited space, we cannot be responsible for items left behind for more than 14 days. After that time, unclaimed items may be donated or discarded.

If you think you left something behind, feel free to email info@c2body.com and we’ll be happy to check for you.

  • Can I attend a class if I am pregnant?

If you are pregnant, we recommend consulting with your doctor before attending a C2 Body class. While our instructors are trained in pre/post-natal fitness, it is essential to inform your instructor in advance. Many of our workouts are core-intensive and pre-planned, so modifications may be necessary to ensure your comfort and safety.

For a more personalized experience, we recommend private sessions or Beginner Reformer Pilates classes, which allow for tailored modifications and a focus on safe movement throughout your pregnancy.

For those in their second or third trimester (26 weeks and beyond), many of our pregnant clients find Barre classes to be a great option. The standing, vertical workout can be more accommodating during pregnancy.

We’re here to support you throughout your journey—please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!

  • What are the [Muscle & Flow] classes on the Milton schedule?

On our Milton schedule, you may see some classes labeled [Muscle & Flow]. These take place in our shared 4th-floor studio space, where we also hold Barre classes.

Please note: [Muscle & Flow] classes are not taught by C2 Body instructors. They are offered by the gym, Muscle & Flow, and are separate from C2 Body's programming

Important Note on Booking & Payments:

C2 Body class packs and group class memberships do not include Muscle & Flow classes because C2 Body and Muscle & Flow are separate businesses. Muscle & Flow studio classes require their own drop-in purchase.
